Jenni Draper, our Nail Artist at Carol Hayes Management, is up for Nail Professional of the Year on Sunday at The Professional Beauty Awards 2012, following her triumph last year.

"Trend colours for spring/summer 2012 are definitely the pastels, think sherbet shades: zesty lemons, dusty pinks, spearmint greens, soft peaches, sky blue and pale lilacs are all in favour, we’re going lighter in shade than last year and nails should be elegant.  The nail shape should be shorter and round and altogether more feminine.  Outfits can be instantly updated with a striking nail colour, making the latest trend easily accessible and affordable.  Mavala, Dior and Revlon have all got some great pastels nail colours this season."
