Presenters & Brands
Shelly’s experience in the fashion and magazine industry spans over 20 years, where she started her career at the newly launched Elle in the late 80’s. She then went to work as the Fashion & Style Director of Cosmopolitan UK for 15 years and also edited their stand alone magazine, Cosmopolitan Fashion.
Pursuing new directions in the digital age, Shelly then left Cosmopolitan to launch her own website www.thestylishstuff.com - a blog which informs its readers of the very best in fashion, beauty and interiors.
Passionate about ‘real’ and ‘affordable fashion’ and after many years of international catwalk shows, Shelly has developed her skills in identifying the key high street must haves, and translating catwalk fashion into viable options for the consumer.
Shelly is now freelance and offers her clients fashion styling, art direction, editing, production services, retail consultancy and blogging. Her skill set enables her to organise large scale productions from start to finish.
Clients Shelly has worked with include: Debenhams, John Lewis, House Of Fraser, M & S, Olympus and JD Sports to name just a few.
Shelly has developed a 25 piece festival collection for Miss Selfridge and is currently developing a vegan bag collection. She has also worked alongside Olympus to create Project Green – an exhibition of her photography featuring sustainable fashion and beauty.
