Emily Henson is a London-based interior stylist and author best known for her colourful and eclectic style and her creativity and resourcefulness on set. She began her career as a childrenswear designer and went on to become a display artist and merchandiser for Anthropologie before branching out into styling for editorial and advertising clients. After living and working in New York and Los Angeles since the mid-nineties, in 2011 Emily returned to her hometown of London where she continues to work as a freelance stylist for clients that have included IKEA, Anthropologie, Matalan, Primark, and M&S.
Emily also hosts styling events for clients including Anthropologie and the Soho House group, as well as private clients. She is often asked to speak about interiors in the press and on panel discussions, including a recent Living Etc panel on creating individual style. Emily has also written two interiors books with publisher Ryland, Peters & Small - Modern Rustic and Bohemian Modern - and is currently working on her third.
