Matthew Wade always knew hairdressing would one day become his career! Coming from a family of hairdressers, he spent many of his formative years watching his family create unique and inspiring hair looks.

Training as an apprentice at the Harrods Hair & Beauty Salon, after having completed his training Matthew left to work in several London salons. He then decided to go freelance and after having worked with Brian Aris, he was personally introduced by Brian to Twiggy -  who has become a long standing client. Matthews has worked with Twiggy on numerous campaigns including L’Oreal and Marks & Spencers.

Just some of the publications Matthew has created hair for include: Vogue, Sunday Times Style, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire and ES Magazine. He has worked with photographers Brian Aris, David Gubert, Jane McLeish, Terry O’Neill, Troy Word, Victor Yuan and William Garrett.

Matthew’s immaculate hair has also been seen in commercials for Dove Hair, Marks & Spencers, Oil Of Olay and the Sunsilk Hair Commercial. Additionally, Matthew has worked with Middle Eastern clients on hair commercials specifically aimed at their markets. Advertising clients include Top Shop, French Connection, John Lewis to name just a few.

Celebrities and Influencers Matthew has worked with include: Anna Wintour, Erin O’Connor, Eva Herzigova, Kate Bush, Milla Jovovich, Penelope Cruz, Roni Size, Kate Moss, Rene Zellweger, Kate Beckinsale and Twiggy.
