Born and based in London, Karl Willett has honed his craft and career as a celebrity stylist in the city he grew up in. Known for his elegantly classic, yet contemporary style and vision, Karl has worked with celebrities from across the music/film industry including Paloma Faith, Jermaine Jackson, Geri Halliwell, Jessie J, Sanaa Lathan, Mel C and Tinie Tempah. He has been published globally in Vanity Fair, Dazed & Confused, L’Official and Harpers Bazaar to name a few.
 
Karl is a lecturer at Condè Nast College of Fashion & Design in London, teaching students about styling celebrities within the media and fashion industry and the importance of eco design and awareness. He was the Fashion Director for The Clothes Show from 2011 to 2016 and is now Fashion Director for The British Style Collective alongside his good friends

Karl has a broad portfolio, ranging from fashion and editorial styling to art direction, brand and image consultancy. Starting his career at Selfridges in London as a window stylist within their global award winning team, it was here that Karl began his journey as a self-taught stylist, diversifying into areas of still life and interiors. Following these first steps into the industry, Karl ventured into all aspects of styling; working within magazine houses, producing fashion shows and collaborating on live stage productions, finally moving into the celebrity world of music artists and actors.
 
Karl’s strong ability to re-brand artists and productions, has secured him a formidable reputation within the music, fashion and celebrity industries. This has enabled him to forge close relationships with many of the elite fashion houses and develop personal friendships with designers. Having achieved a distinguished worldwide clientele, Karl has been recognised both within the industry and by the media more widely, with interviews in Tatler, The New Yorker, Cosmopolitan, The Guardian, Glamour and Xperia Insiders for Sony Music. Karl has also been a style expert on BBC Radio1, giving advise and style tips.
